Built in the 1832 as Westwood’s almshouse, this property has lived many lives, surviving fire, reinvention, and the passing of generations. When we were entrusted with it, we saw more than a house in disrepair. We saw potential, history worth saving.

The Consalvos, known for their work with High Performance Building Company, have overseen a remarkable renovation that respects the estate’s architectural roots while reimagining it for modern living.The original hardwood floors, stone fireplaces, and moulding details were brought back to life, while features like geothermal heating and cooling as well as modern tech were a new addition.

Today, 78 Fox Hill Street stands as a testament to the power of vision and the importance of preserving history. What could have been another victim of demolition is now a beautiful, functional home that will be enjoyed by future generations and is a symbol of Westwood’s enduring spirit
